Is your customer display losing connection?

If your customer display keeps losing connection from POS, check the followings

  • Make sure you have latest version of IRD. (when you were prompted to update IRD, please update it.)
  • Do you have multiple wifi connection setup on the customer display?
    • Please keep one wifi network at customer display to avoid disconnection
  • Check ipad’s ip address and Interactive display manager’s ip address.
    • Whenever your wifi router restarts, your ip address will be assigned randomly.
    • set ipad’s ip address as static (not changing automatically)
    • Goto ipad Settings >> Wifi
    • Remember the IP Address, Subnet Mask and Router information
    • Configure IP >> change to Manual

 

  • Enter  IP Address, Subnet Mask and Router information under MANUAL IP
  • Now your IP address will not be changed
