If your customer display keeps losing connection from POS, check the followings
- Make sure you have latest version of IRD. (when you were prompted to update IRD, please update it.)
- Do you have multiple wifi connection setup on the customer display?
- Please keep one wifi network at customer display to avoid disconnection
- Check ipad’s ip address and Interactive display manager’s ip address.
- Whenever your wifi router restarts, your ip address will be assigned randomly.
- set ipad’s ip address as static (not changing automatically)
- Goto ipad Settings >> Wifi
- Remember the IP Address, Subnet Mask and Router information
- Configure IP >> change to Manual
- Enter IP Address, Subnet Mask and Router information under MANUAL IP
- Now your IP address will not be changed
