Solution for Communication Error – Connect Error

First, please check if there’s Internet in the store by opening a browser. If yes, follow below steps:

Step 1: Matching IP Address of terminal in Register

  • Access the main menu: Press F key + 1 key at the same time
  • Enter Password (Default is current date, long format MMDDYYYY ex 11032023), then press enter
  • Click down arrow on screen 1 time > Communication > Enter Password default is current day
  • Click down arrow on screen 2 times > LAN Parameters > IP Address > Write down IP address.
  • Go to Register > Menu > Settings > Terminal IP address > If IP address is 192.168.001.023, only enter 192.158.1.23 (discard 0 prefix) > Make sure to Save

Step 2: Restart iPad & reboot credit card machine > Test, if still not work go to next step

Step 3: Restart router -> Test

** To avoid Communication Error in the future > Set IP address to Static

  • Access the main menu: Press F key + 1 key at the same time
  • Enter Password (Default is current date, long format MMDDYYYY ex 11032023), then press enter
  • Click down arrow on screen 1 time > Communication > Enter Password default is current day
  • Click down arrow on screen 2 times > LAN Parameters > LAN type > 2. Static
